Marketland+ is built on a player-first monetization philosophy. Every design decision regarding monetization is tested against a single question: "Does this respect the player's time and make the game better?"

💵 Cash (Premium Currency) Spending
Cash is the only real-money currency. It is also earnable through play (+1 per level).

💡 Design Note: The Season Pass is purely about enriching the experience — more cosmetics, slightly faster progression, and exclusive aesthetics. The entire game is playable, enjoyable, and winnable without the Season Pass.

- All displays reachable without spending real money
- Leaderboards based on time-played and strategy, not spending
- Farm Tokens have their own economy, 100% free-to-earn
- Neighbours only see each other's LP and achievements — no spending display
- Cash rewards from leveling ensure even free players have premium currency
- No energy = no "energy wall" that premium currency bypasses
